NVQs in Volunteering

Hi

I am looking into NVQ volunteering opportunities, specifically does an NVQ in volunteering exist?

I know that a number of voluntary organisations offer the opportunity to complete an NVQ in a relevant subject, e.g. customer service, retail, etc. but I am now looking into the availability of a specific NVQ in Volunteering.

Does anyone know if there is one?

There is no NVQ in volunteering. There was one in Volunteer Management and we are in the process of replacing this with a new qualification that should be more flexible.
On the whole NVQs are being changed to fit with the newly developed system for qualifications.
Try visiting http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk to find a qualification that suits your needs.
Let us know if you do not have any luck and we can look to develop something in the future
