Join Dame Mary Marsh’s sector skills review

Dame Mary Marsh is calling for people from across the third sector in charities and social enterprises to let her know what their skills priorities are for our sector in the Social Sector Skills and Leadership Review.

Part of our role on the working party is to help spread the news and encourage people to let Dame Mary and the review team know about good examples of skills development, areas where there are skills gaps and their thoughts about how skills in our sector can be developed effectively now and in the future. The Social Skills and Leadership Review team have set up an online discussion forum to capture some of this feedback, which we are hosting on our website too. Any comments you post here will be shared on the skills review website and on the websites of the other organisations in the working party who are hosting the discussion forum, as well as showing here.

So please do get involved and help the third sector to make the most of this great opportunity to talk about the skills we need now - and the skills we need in the future.

Here’s a message from Dame Mary and the team.

Please take a couple of minutes to visit our online forum https://getsatisfaction.com/skillsocialaction, where you can look at other people’s ideas, share your own views and find about more about the Social Sector Skills & Leadership Review, led by Dame Mary Marsh.

We’d love to get a quick comment about what you think the key challenges are and what ideas and examples the sector is already employing to overcome them!

It’s really important to us to learn as much from as many people as possible, so please join in and share this with anyone else in your networks that would be interested!

All the best

Mary & The Review Team
